Seattle DPD

Roberta Baker, UW Graduate and Land Use and Zoning Manger for Seattle's DPD, stopped by today's Lunch-and-Learn to share her wealth of knowledge on Seattle's Department of Planning and Development. Click here to review a copy of her presentation. If students are interested in an internship please connect directly with Roberta via email. Ideally students will have a background in planning and architecture. Most importantly students need to have experience in reading construction documents.

Her biggest piece of advice for students: "Build relationships!"

Tuesday the 7th we were fortunate to have Steve Harmon and Darryl Custer from Callison Global come talk to us about large scale development, creative solution, and adding value. In addition, Callison shared their new environmental tool called Matrix
